Graduate Teaching Assistanships
The School of Education offers graduate teaching assistantships that enable students to be employed while completing an advanced degree. Graduate teaching assistant positions often include serving as an instructor in the teacher education program. This also could include assisting faculty with course instruction or research and/or supervising student teachers at the elementary, middle, or secondary levels. Applicants pursuing advanced degrees in the School of Education are preferred. Classroom teaching experience is highly preferred. There are many research and development centers at the University of Kansas that offer unique opportunities for students to engage in developing educational technology.
