Welcome to the University of Kansas - KU!
The University of Kansas is a major research university on one of the nation's most beautiful campuses with about 30,000 students, 2,200 faculty (96 percent hold PhDs) and 170 fields of study. The University's School of Education is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation's best graduate Schools for its excellence in graduate programs, educational research, and teacher education. The school's newly remodeled Joseph R. Pearson building gives students access to modern computer, internet, and media technologies.

There are additional research and development centers at the University of Kansas that offer unique opportunities for students to engage in developing educational technology. Several of these centers also offer on-campus employment related to educational technology. Centers such as the eLearning Design Lab (eDL), Advanced Learning Technology (ALTEC), Center for Educational Testing and Evaluation (CETE), Information and Telecommunication Technology Center (ITTC), and the Center for Research on Learning (CRL) have established KU as a national leader in eLearning tools and resources that serve millions of users every week.
